Words Fly Away

The moment of change is the only poem. by Chiara Fersini

Words Fly Away

by Lisa Cox

When I fling
Words away
I know
They never
Come back
Like the
Morning mist
They linger
And then
Become
Part
Of the larger
Story
All the words
Written
Waiting to be
Read
Shouted
Whispered
No longer my
Words
Let them linger
Let them weep
Let them dance
Let them sing
Let them sink
Like a stone

Words fly away
