Deformed Space (Espacio deforme) by Guennadi Ulibin

Lisa Cox
When shuttles
We all cried and
And looked for
Because astronauts
Were heroes

They canceled
The space shuttle
No one had money
For space shuttle programs

When the satellites
Started to fall
No one
They had
Short life spans
No one
Could afford
To send up

When space stations
Fell out of orbit
They were tourist
Relics of a bygone
Era when
We could afford
To go past our
Blue sky
Into the dark
Of space

The stars
Tell our fortune
How close
How far
Can we reach,
How close
How far
Do we want
To reach?
