Heavy

Heaving
Holds down
Every breath
We are sucking
In vapor
Waiting
Waiting
Waiting
For the storm
To break
To shatter
Broken
To lift this
Weight
Let the rain
Flood down
Cloud pour
Down pour
Out doors
We run
Letting the cold
Water lower
The temper
Wash away
Rejection
Jealousy
Unforgiveness
In trickles
Down our chins
Past our elbows
Dripping of our fingertips
The world rights
Itself as clouds
Blow past
Stifling heat
The kept every
Bit of humidity
Locked inside
Blown away
Leaving coolness
Cleansing in its
Wake
