Look Closer – Living in the Moment of Marta Penter’s Artwork

Late Afternoon by Marta Penter
Late Afternoon by Marta Penter

Marta Penter’s beautiful artwork makes me want to visit Brazil immediately.  She works in oils and watercolor.  Her work is mainly in greytones, with a single pop of color.  She also works on a very large canvas, which draws the viewer in.  This has the odd affect of making you feel as as though you are almost in the painting, making it feel immediate and intimate.  There are many places to see Marta’s work online.  A few places to see her work inlcude HERE, HERE, HERE and on her website HERE.
