Sculpture in Styrofoam by Alexandre Farto AKA Vhils

Vhils (Alexandre Farto) is known for his street art. Vhils also works in other materials, and uses other techniques, including using explosives. He creates by subtracting, or creative destruction. He chisels away styrofoam, cork, and paint from wood doors to reveal beauty. He even uses carefully placed explosives to blast away portions of exterior wall to create beautiful art.  You can see more of Vhil’s work at Yatzer, at my original post on Cross Connect Magazine, on his website.
