Time to Go

Blow off the dust
That rests on the relics
From they who came
Before you hold tight
Pry loose that tiger
Claw they changed
History with
Grapple with the
Old man until he gives
Up the gun he
Never fired
The one
His father used
In a forgotten war
Undo the clasp
That holds
The saint medallion
While the old woman
Tries to grasp the
Slim chain
Demand your history
Your foundation
And begin to build
Begin to fight
The future
Is erupting
Take everything
You can hold
All your hope
All you passion
All you love
Goes with you
Now go
Make the future yours
